Background:

She was born in a normal happy home, and although she didn't have much she appreciated everything that her parents did for her. All she cared about was being loved by her parents. Which she was very loved. One day while she was fetching water at the lake and returned home she found her parents and siblings murdered blood splattered everywhere, her parents throat slit, and brothers stabbed multiple times. Esmer dropped to her knees, trembling and crying. She heard a cry for help coming from upstairs Esmer recognized Clause's voice and rushed up to help him.

He was leaned up against the wall clutching on to a piece of paper doused in his blood. Clause told Esmer that the were never blood related and that she was the daughter of King Daeron and Queen Kalea of the elf clan the Caldarians.  One day the Celebryl clan was tired of  always being the servant or slave to the Caldarians.

So because the Celebryl clan wanted power, status, the Caldarian elves magical power,and to take over their throne they waged war against the Caldarians. And in order for her to be kept a secret and protected the Queen handed Esmer to one of the Court Maids which was their mother Mianna. Now her next step is to reclaim her throne and help the few Caldarians who survived the war and are secretly hiding.
